At what age should?

At what age should a child stop calling there mom %26amp; dad mommy %26amp; daddy %26amp; mama %26amp; dada?? Im just wondering. NO IM NOT A PARENT. :)

umm i think you should always be calling your parents mom and dad

Reply:I still call my parents mommy and daddy. But not mama and dada. But for me it just slips out. Maybe they%26#039;ll grow out of it? I mean maybe it maybe it wont work, but imagine having to tell a child %26quot;No, call your mom %26#039;Mom%26#039; not %26#039;Mommy%26#039;.%26quot; Idkk tho.
Reply:it depend on the person. Call your parents whatever you want. I call my dad: daddy, pops, daddy-o and my mom: moms, mommy, and mommy-kins :)
Reply:My husband%26#039;s family, at age 21 still calls him %26quot;Greggie%26quot; so I think once the family stops with the baby names so should the child.

Reply:I don%26#039;t think it really matters. My dad is 65 and when talking about his father he always calls him %26quot;daddy%26quot; my grandfather has been dead for almost 30 years.





the mama %26amp; dada hopefully by the time they are in preschool it should go to mom %26amp; dad or mommy %26amp; daddy.
Reply:I still call my parents mommy and daddy, but its mainly when I want something from them!! But the mama and dada, should stop when the child is able to walk!!
Reply:I don%26#039;t think there%26#039;s a limit to that. They%26#039;re your parents- you can call them %26quot;mama, dada%26quot; or %26quot;mummy and daddy%26quot; till any age. :)

Reply:In the south where my mom grew up- everyone calls their dad Daddy-regardless of age. Mom is called Mother and grandma is call Mommy.





A child of 3 years should be able to start calling mommy and daddy over mama and dada

Reply:YOU SHOULD ALWAYS CALL YOUR PARENTS MOM OR DAD BECAUSE IT WOULD BE DISRESOECTFUL TO CALL THEM BY THEIR FIRST NAME
